Simone Gloeckner and Thomas Propp are passing on their many years of experience.

The aim is to enable participants to teach child-friendly yoga for groups aged 3 and over.

Yoga for children is offered in public and private childcare facilities. Yoga schools offer after-school classes. Anyone who looks after children can add children's yoga to their repertoire.

The benefits of yoga in the contexts of childcare and the education of children are manifold and well documented.

Children experience, explore and develop their physical mobility. They do not need to be persuaded to do this; instead, children's yoga builds on each child's natural joy of movement. Alongside this, mental flexibility, openness, experiences of self-competence and the joy of practising together develop. The yoga class opens up a shared space of postures, touches, sounds, social and intellectual experiences. Providing the appropriate material in this space and handling it imaginatively yet responsibly is the task of children's yoga teachers. One thing must be added: this task – it can hardly be called work – is not only fun for the children, but is also very often a rewarding experience for the instructing educators.

This is what graduates say about the training:

I had the pleasure of attending the certified children's yoga teacher course with Simone and Thomas. The course is pedagogically so practical that everything can be applied immediately in the nursery. It was also an absolute enrichment for me and my personal, private development. I am looking forward to the Christmas-themed course. Many thanks to you both. (Kathrin H.)

A perfect blend of theory and practice, conveyed with a wealth of experience and passion. The varied collection of ideas from Simone and Thomas, using self-created material and textbooks, makes everything clear and easy to understand. Thank you very much for the warm atmosphere in your cosy studio! (Franziska D.)

I can highly recommend the children's yoga training at Yogalila. Thomas and Simone are very experienced in children's yoga and make sure it is fun!  (Sarah T.)

I really enjoyed the children's yoga training!
I have been given many, many inspiring ideas so that I can get started right away with running my own courses. The good mood, the homely atmosphere and the friendly manner did me so much good that I would really recommend this training to everyone!
(Meta S.)
